For the supporters of Olympic recognition, please look at the title before attacking your keyboard - it's a personal view! I appreciate that there is a demand for 'sport karate' but it is not - IMO - the art that was practised by the JKA giants: Enoeda, Tanaka, Kase et al. Once you start to remove (ban) techniques because they're considered dangerous, that says much about where karate is going: the word MARTIAL means WAR LIKE.... and nothing is ever removed in a war situation because it's 'dangerous'.
